Rhodes Kallithea, a young man from Rhodes, has a vision. In his vision he sees himself as King of Rhodes and the first Rhodes Monarch. He wants to have a united Rhodes and Southern Rhodesia and is determined to unite them under one flag.

The Rhodesian people are divided about what type of leader they would like to see Kallithea in power. Some feel that he is too young for the job and that he needs time to mature.

But when the war comes to the Rhodesian people they quickly realize that Kallithea has the leadership skills and the vision to lead them to victory. He is a military man and is also a skilled negotiator, which help him get along well with others.

There are some who believe that it is unfair to ask Kallithea to take over the role of King of Rhodes at such a young age, but many people see this as an opportunity for him to get an education. He hopes to lead a Rhodesian civil war that will make him the most powerful Rhodesian King ever. Others say that he is just a spoiled, arrogant, childlike man who doesn't know anything about what it really means to be a king.

As the war progresses the Rhodesians are not pleased with the way they are being ruled, so they rebel against Kallithea. He doesn't know how to handle the situation and it doesn't help matters when a major political figure, President Ian Khama, is assassinated.

Kallithea becomes very unpopular because he doesn't want to rule alone and he wants to work with other people. He realizes now that he must learn to deal with people and be a leader.

After the war comes to an end, Rhodes has become a very wealthy man and lives a very comfortable life. However, in a recent story line, it was revealed that he was involved in an incident where he was shot by a bullet. He was paralyzed and suffered for a short time. However, he is now able to walk.

People say that if Kallithea continues to lead the country the way he is leading, he may soon become the richest man in Rhodesia. in the whole world.

I found this book interesting and thought that it was well written and informative. It did give some insight into the war and helped me learn about Rhodesia.
